Professional First Aid Training
Blue Pulse provides First Aid at Work training in Cyprus in accordance with the Safety and Health at Work (First Aid) Regulations of 2009 (R.A.A. 198/2009) and the applicable requirements of the Department of Labour Inspection of the Republic of Cyprus.
Our programmes combine CPR, AED and practical first aid skills, preparing participants to respond effectively to workplace injuries, sudden illness and medical emergencies.
Training is delivered by qualified instructors through hands-on practice, realistic scenarios and modern training equipment, helping participants develop the competence and confidence to act when it matters most.
For organisations, training can be arranged around workforce and operational requirements while maintaining the requirements of the applicable approved programme.

Education
Emergency First Aid at Work
6-7 hours
Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) is a one-day course designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills to provide basic first aid in a workplace setting. The course is sponsored by the Human Resources Development Authority (HRDA) for companies and covers a range of topics, including basic life support, managing an unconscious casualty, dealing with bleeding and shock, and recognising the signs and symptoms of common workplace injuries and illnesses. The duration of the course is typically 6-7 hours. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate valid for 3 years.
First Aid at Work
18 hours
First Aid at Work (FAW) is a comprehensive three-day course designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills to provide advanced first aid in a workplace setting. The course is sponsored by the Human Resources Development Authority (HRDA) for companies and covers a wide range of topics, including basic and advanced life support, managing injuries and illnesses, and providing first aid in emergency situations. The duration of the course is typically 18 hours. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate valid for 3 years. This course is suitable for individuals who are designated as a first aider in their workplace or for those who want to have more advanced knowledge and skills on first aid.
Paediatric First Aid / Emergencies
6-12 hours
Pediatric First Aid/Emergencies are courses designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills to provide first aid to children in a safe and effective manner. The course covers a range of topics, including, but not limited to, basic life support, managing injuries and illnesses specific to children, how to recognise and respond to a child in an emergency situation, and how to provide first aid for common childhood injuries and illnesses. The course typically lasts 6-14 hours. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate that is valid for 2 years. This course is suitable for anyone who works with children, including parents, guardians, teachers, and healthcare professionals.
CPR & AED
6 hours
Practical training focused on recognising cardiac arrest, delivering high-quality CPR and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Basic Life Support with AED (BLSD)
6 hours
Basic Life Support with Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is a one-day course designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills to provide basic life support, including the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in an emergency situation. The course is sponsored by the Human Resources Development Authority (HRDA) for companies and covers a range of topics, including basic life support techniques, such as CPR, and the use of an AED. The duration of the course is typically 6 hours. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate that is valid for 2 years. This course is ideal for anyone who wants to learn how to provide emergency life support and use an AED, including members of the public, workplace first aiders, and healthcare professionals.
